Why should I become a member?

To ensure that you have a voice representing your interests
at LSC and Awarding Body meetings.

To gain support and share information on relevant and important
issues.

To represent your college at regional and
national conferences.

To keep up to date with regional and national activities through the PACE web site

To access examples of good practice on curriculum issues
such as
assignments, schemes of work and learning materials.

To gain access to buying consortiums for food, uniforms and
equipment.
Membership Constitution
Membership is on a regional basis with representation to a National
Executive Committee. Two representatives are nominated for a period of
two years from each of the regional committees.
Meetings
PACE normally meet twice a year, in November and May (November meeting
including AGM).
Officers are appointed at the November AGM for a 2 year period.
Special meetings of PACE shall be convened at the request of not fewer
than six members of PACE. Any request should be sent to the Secretary
and should include reasons for making the request.
At the AGM, National and Regional audited financial accounts will be
published and formally accepted and an annual meeting schedule will be
agreed and published.
